Hassan Azab joined Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt in 1994 as a professor of Analytical Chemistry and head of the chemistry department, faculty of science. He worked as vice dean for students affairs at the faculty of science in the period 2001-2003.He received several international awards including DAAD, DFG, TWAS award.
