Karl Foerster (1874-1970) war der deutsche Gartengestalter des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts und gründete 1911 seine berühmte Staudengärtnerei in Potsdam-Bornim. Er ist noch immer die Leitfigur für blaue Blüten und blaue Gärten - diesem Thema hat er sich sein Leben lang verschrieben.
