With the increased demand of implants in this modern era, any bony deficits of the jaws or alveolar bone resorption following tooth extraction can be challenging for predictable implant placement as adequate alveolar bone volume and promising architecture of the alveolar ridge are essential to achieve aesthetically and functionally ideal prosthetic reconstruction following implant therapy.
