Beschreibung
There no any doubt that, three-phase induction motors became the most widely used electric motors in industry. This is because they are simple, rugged, low-priced, easy to maintain and can be manufactured with characteristics to suit most industrial requirements. Moreover, nowadays, with the development of power semiconductors, induction motors may be considered as serious rivals to dc motors in many speed control systems. This book "Three Phase Induction Motors" covers construction, performance, starting, braking, speed control and design of three phase induction motors. It has been written to meet the introductory phase of the needs of those students and engineers who are interested in 3-phase induction motors and its applications. The essential goal from this book is offering simple and concentrated scientific material about 3-phase induction motors equipped with enough applied examples, tutorial problems and different review answered questions for revision for those students and engineers who are interested with 3-phase induction motors.
