Beschreibung
This preliminary book focuses on one of the groups of insects called Hawk Moths, one of the most widely distributed in various habitats throughout the world. Adult hawk moths are generally active at night, although some are diurnal or crepuscular in habit. They are mostly strong fliers that imbibe nectar from flowers while hovering, and many are important pollinators of night-blooming flowers. They are often robust moths, with elongate, triangular forewings and small hind wings, which makes them agile fliers.
