This book is written on the forty days experience of staying in a village of India. The author stayed in such a village where she doesn't know the language. So she used the participatory tools for communicating with the people. This book mainly focuses on five dimensions of rural life i.e social, economic, cultural, political and ecological perspectives. The author stayed in a farmers house and experienced their lives. This book reflects those days of learning.

Aditi Khan is a student of Development Management, she completed her bachelor's degree in Agriculture Rural and Tribal Development. This is her first book. Before this book, she has published six papers in different international journals based on her rural experiences in some states of India.
