Beschreibung
Ugo Rondinone is a multimedia artist at the intersection of Conceptual Art and Romanticism whose imagery confronts the viewers with a new reality. His landscapes, suns, human figures, and still lifes probe the emotional and psychological depths of human experience in relation to nature. In the glass pavilion of the Belvedere 21, the artist brings together new groups of works from the classic genres of the nude and the landscape. Alongside landscapessculptures shaped from soil that make reference among other things to Minimal Art the exhibition catalogue also presents hyperrealistically designed nudesseemingly introverted nude figures made of clear wax and soil.
