Beschreibung
China maintains a network of close political and economic relations to almost all countries in Africa. The author examines important areas of cooperation from trade and investments to security issues, and analyses incentives and risks for both China and its African partners. He thus reveals a complexity in China-Africa relations that goes far beyond simplifying labels such as developmental partnership or neo-colonialism.
