Beschreibung
Graphene's extraordinary electrical, optical, and mechanical properties render it one of the most promising materials for a variety of future technological applications. Therefore it is particularly important to study graphene's interaction with different substrates. This book contains an intensive introsuction into the topic of graphene research. Three different graphene growth methods on different substrates are studied extensively, using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). The method is explained in detail in an extra chapter. The book is therefore of great help not only for those who are interested in graphene, but also for peolpe who are interested in ARPES.
Autorenportrait
Dr. Carsten Enderlein studied physics at TU Dresden, FU Berlin, IST Lisboa, CBPF Rio de janeiro, Fritz-Haber institute of the Max-Planck society and at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory in Berkeley, CA. After working two years as an entrepreneur in quantitative finance, he turned back into research and is now a CNPq-fellow at CBPF in Rio de Janeiro.
