In his "Philosophical Investigationsaoe Ludwig Wittgenstein wrote the purpose of philosophy is "to show the exit from the fly-glass to the flyaoe. The fly-glass allows a look inside. In the same way words form a transparent trap of our thinking. We can watch those around us, who are far off any idea how to find the exit themselves, and we can learn about causes and symptoms of morbus philosophicus, as Wittgenstein said "The philosopher treats a question; as a disease.a Flies go for what they see through the glass. That is the horizon of their understanding. But as the way is closed by the glass theyre walking about, and jumping off the glass to the way on which they entered is beyond their grasp, theyre trapped. Which traps we must be aware of not to become victims ourselves, if we accompany the patient on his way? What is the horizon of our understanding? We dont know. So the following should be read as if there is nothing behind, or, as Blumenberg wrote: "Reflection repairs the harm, which it caused itself.aoe
