Beschreibung
A flora treatment for the Amaryllidaceae subfam. Allioideae occurring in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and Burundi is given. The subfamily comprises one genus and one species; in addition, one species found near the limits of the territory of the flora is included in the key. The species comes with a full description, data on its distribution, habitat, vernacular names and uses, as well as references to additional literature and the citation of representative specimens.
