Basic traditional Swabian fare as vegan cuisine? At first, that sounds almost like a contradiction in terms. Here, however, Lisa Geiger has sifted through her grandmothers hearty recipes and cleverly adapted them to suit vegan requirements. The result is more than 50 well-known and much-loved specialities, but all made completely without animal products. On our culinary crusade through the region, it will be not just vegans and lovers of regional cuisine who will rediscover traditional Swabian classics such as spätzle, pasta squares and more.
