'The Judicial Scrutiny in the Field of European Subsidy Law': The work is about how much control the European courts have over Euoropean subsidy law and where the Commission has discretionary powers that are not subject to judicial review and how the judicial review intensity should be assessed in light of Union legal protection requirements. The Commission has discretionary powers in the context of complex economic decisions, with the lower review intensity being compensated by increased scrutiny of compliance with procedural and reasoning requirements.

Miriam Muth studierte von 2009 bis 2014 Rechtswissenschaften mit dem Begleitstudium Europäisches Recht an der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. Ihre Dissertation verfasste sie während ihrer Tätigkeit als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Öffentliches Recht, insbesondere Verwaltungsrecht, von Prof. Dr. Joachim Suerbaum, welche sie von 2014 bis 2017 ausübte. Von 2016 bis 2018 absolvierte sie das Rechtsreferendariat im Freistaat Bayern. Seit Januar 2019 ist sie als Richterin im Landgerichtsbezirk des Landgerichts Kassel tätig, wobei die Lebenszeiternennung zur Richterin am Landgericht im Jahr 2022 erfolgte.
