Beschreibung
Barring zebra fish, no vertebrate is considered to have the ability to regenerate their kidney. The queue of patients in need of another kidney can run from the White House to Tiananmen Square. Having tried genetic, molecular, cellular and other techniques, scientists still made no breakthrough in in-vivo regeneration of kidneys. The author takes a quite different way by tackling the challenge from the perspective of decellularized scaffold, with an intention to attract in-vivo cells into these "empty rooms", and thus triggering off a cell revolution to create a new regime. Is the regime a success? Is the revolution meaningful? The author seems to have achieved some success.
