Beschreibung

Mathematics is one of the most important sciences. It provides service for all theoretical and applied sciences. Moreover, it widens the skills and abilities of humans for logical analysis, correct thinking in problems and therefore deciding the suitable decisions. Numerical analysis is one of the most important branches of mathematics. It is used for: i- Giving numerical answers needed to rely on approximate methods to obtain usable answers. ii- Evaluation of definite integrations which can't be computed analytically. iii- Solving non- linear equations such to any required degree of accuracy. These equations can't be solved analytically. iv- Solving large systems of simultaneous linear equations using computer. v- Moreover, boundary value differential equations which can't be solved analytically can be solved using numerical methods. However, if an analytical technique exists for solving any problem it is usually easier and more accurate than numerical methods. This book "Numerical Methods with Matlab for Engineers" lies in six Chapters. In each Chapter the scientific material is given and illustrated in a simple method, covered with solved Examples.

Autorenportrait

Prof. Dr. Fathe Allythi has received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Al-Azhar University, Egypt, 1991G. Since then he worked in the teaching field. Since 2008 to present he is a Prof. Dr. of Electrical Machines and related Courses at Taif University, Saudi Arabia. He has many publications. Most his searches are in wind energy.
