This research mainly includes the following items based on the available facilities for analyzing of human elements in the Vessel Traffic Services. 1. Physical and psychological measures of VTS-Os workload a. Experimental studies by utilizing Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) b. Experimental studies by utilizing Eye Mark Recorder (EMR) 2. Subjective measurement of VTS-Os workload by using NASA Task Load Index (TLX) 3. VTS-Os Questionnaire

He is an associate prof. in Maritime Transportation Management Eng. Dept. of Maritime Faculty, Istanbul Technical University-ITU. He has earned PhD degree in Maritime Science&Technology, Kobe University in 2008. He graduated from Deck Dept. of ITU Maritime Faculty, and he has unlimited Ship Master License.
