Klaus Heizmann wurde 1944 in Haan/Rheinland geboren. Nach dem Studium an der Landeskirchenmusikschule in Düsseldorf absolvierte er ein zusätzliches Studienjahr in Fort Wayne, Indiana/USA. 1968 begann er seine vielseitige Tätigkeit als Chor- und Orchersterdirigent, Komponist und Musikproduzent. Er lebt mit seiner Familie in Wiesbaden und leitet dort das "Haus der Musik".
