Beschreibung
A pre experimental research study was conducted in a non-probabilistic sampling of 31 students (n=31), which the teaching technique of collaborative learning was applied in order to demonstrate its influence on the communicative competence of the second cycle students of the Academic Professional School of Communication Sciences of Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. To determine the level of the communicative competence of the English language that students had, a pre-test was taken. Then, students received the treatment and after that, to examine the improvement of the students competence, the same test was applied as a post-test. Pre-test results indicate that 100% of the students had a beginners level in the communicative competence and none (0%) with a level of advancement. After applying the teaching technique, 71% of the students got an outstanding achievement and 29% got the expected achievement level. There is significant evidence thereby leading to the conclusion that the collaborative leaning technique improves the communicative competences of the English Language.
