Beschreibung

Due to his extraordinary walk of life and his resulting writing style, Wilfried Kriese, born in 1963, became a well-known personality. As a child, he lost his language proficiency, was classified as behaviorally disturbed and is a dyslexic. He spent all his school-years in special schools for mentally challenged children. After his school-years, Kriese did not follow a secondary or tertiary educational course, but his own. Today he is the author of numerous books as well as an editor. This biography proves how a person whom experts had given up as being a hopeless case, and who would normally have been confined to sheltered accommodation and work, is nevertheless capable of leading an independent life. In 2003, the "International Institute for Advanced Studies in Systems Research and Cybernetics" has awarded Wilfried Kriese the degree of "Dr. h. c." (Doctor honoris causa). In the German-speaking area as well as probably the whole of Europe, it is unique for a person with a background like Wilfried Kriese to be awarded such an honor
