Beschreibung
Grinding by collision is an effective method in processing of different materials. One of the few devices for treatment of materials by impact is a disintegrator, where materials are crushed as a result of fracturing. Due to the high ratio of collision stress and material strength, it is possible to crush not only brittle but also ductile materials. Theoretical aspects of size reduction by collision and basics of separation of particles are observed. On the basis of theoretical investigations, the DS- series disintegrators have been designed and developed. A special inertial and centrifugal classifiers with a closed air or gas system was developed. To treat different materials laboratory and semi-industrial (DSL) and industrial multi-functional disintegrators (DSA etc.) with productivity from some kg/h to t/h were developed. Based on the disintegrator milling technology, grindability of different materials groups (metallic, ceramic, polymeric and composite) were studied. Application areas of the produced powders for powder metallurgy and surface treatment were studied.
