Allan Savage was ordained in 1978 to the Roman Catholic Priesthood, serving in the Dioceses of Timmins and Thunder Bay, in various pastoral, clinical, and administrative positions. He has taught as sessional lecturer in the Faculty of Theology, University of Winnipeg. His books indicate areas of current academic interest: 2001, A Phenomenological Understanding of Certain Liturgical Texts; 2003, Faith, Hope and Charity as Character Traits in Adlers Individual Psychology [Co-author Sheldon William Nicholl]; 2007, A Contemporary Understanding of Religious Belief Within Mental Health; 2008, The Ecology: A New to You View - An Orthodox Theological Ecology; 2009, Philosophical Memoires: Constructing Christian Theology in the Contemporary World; 2009, Dehellenization and Dr Dewart Revisited - A First Person Philosophical Reflection; 2012, The Catholic Faith and the Social Construction of Religion: With Particular Attention to the Québec Experience [Co-author Peter Stuart]. As well, he has contributed to various electronic and print journals.

Allan Savage is currently pastor of St. Patrick's Parish, Quebec City, QC. He earned his Doctorate in Theology from the University of South Africa; his Doctorate in Sacred Theology was granted by the St. Elias Seminary and Graduate School, and his Doctorate of Letters granted via published works (European-American University).
