In the 19th century, as the result of technological innovations, revolution in the industry, advancement in the science field, there was a growth in agricultural, industrial production, economic expansion and tremendous changes in lifestyle of human. People have changed the way of manufacturing processes during this time. All the hand works shifted to the machines. As a result of this revolution, the products were quite cheaper. The uses of metals and alloys in the world are enormous. The metals are widely using in each and every industry, and they also use for the domestic purpose. The metals are essential to fulfilling the needs of human being. The metals use in automobiles and their spare parts, refrigerator bodies, washing machine bodies, jewellery items, aeroplanes, domestic utensils, electrical components, gas pipelines. The metals widely use in the reactors in the manufacturing industries, refinery industries and marine engineering. Mild steel called as carbon steel with a maximum of 0.25% carbon. Mild steel is relatively inexpensive. This alloy can be readily weldable, it is very durable and annealed efficiently. The mild steel is one of the necessary things in human life.
