»The Practice of the Federal Executive Administration in Germany« The execution of federal laws on federal commission is of increasing importance in German administrative practice. According to Article 85 of the Basic Law the Bund has extensive possibilities to influence the execution of its laws, including the right of supervision and the right to issue general administrative rules and instructions. In addition, informal means of control over the Länder have emerged. The dissertation gives an overview of these means and examines their legality and appropriateness.
