This volume contains the first critical edition of Galens glossary of Hippocrates, the only surviving lexicographical work by the illustrious physician from Pergamon, and the first complete alphabetical lexicon in Western literature. Along with the critical text edition, the volume also includes an extensive introduction, Italian translation, comments, and indexes.
